In my personal online investigation of the H1N1 virus debacle do I or don't I get the shot I came across the
CBS video Washington Unplugged, you can watch it HERE . After watching the video I was reading some of the comments, the following two really made me stop and think, especially the analogy of the baby sitter. Please let me know what you think.

That makes sense in a quick glance, but the overall picture is that we MUST remember that this is a NEW vaccine that isn't guaranteed 100% to prevent one from getting H1N1 or to be risk free from any side effects either and the only thing that is for sure is that time will prevail. Prevention of this disease (which is actually an influenza) through a vaccine is quite questionable considering they haven't found one that effectively has nabbed the regular influenza & prevented the spreading. I know TONS of people that were sicker after getting a regular flu vaccine & others that still got sick with the flu after receiving it & a large number of people that were in worse shape than others that didn't receive the regular flu vaccine. Are people forgetting that we have a natural immune system? Should we really be constantly messing with it? Prevention of this flu has other options available to us besides the vaccine that are a much safer & risk free of body side effects but we can't do those other things because it could jeopardize our ECONOMY. Cost efficiency can & could go either way on this, it's funny how that almighty dollar seems to be involved with something you must sign a waver for. The interest of the ALMIGHTY DOLLAR has obviously been taken care of there has it not? Not to mention I wasn't aware that you could actually morally put a cost (price) on ones life. What is a human life worth now a days? Is there different rates placed on every family member? How much is a baby valued or our parents or our grandparents? MONEY root of all evil. We Must remember that disease prevention is more effective than treatment of disease, that is the whole point of this controversy is it not? Side effects are REAL & are very much possible hence the waver, & what's not saying that this won't cause an even worse disease in the future with how many innocent damaged? How preventive & lets not forget (Cost efficient is that?) Also this distribution problem in regards to those who want the vaccine, WE have to ask ourselves how ironic is it when come Election Day there is a voting pole every where & every one gets the opportunity to vote & it's a hell of a lot more organized than something that's of this magnitude that involves the best interest of our health ? Looks to me that we get treated quite differently when it's something that's suppose to benefit ourselves personally. What, an election is more important than our lives? Really what's going on? Our government body as a whole can't be that unorganized, that naive, can they? If so, God help us all. With that being said, along with the facts that the public's views on doubts & fears regarding this vaccine are very LIGIT & very REAL , we must acknowledge it all for the best interest of mankind. The H1N1 vaccine very well could be the best thing but the problem is NO ONE knows 100% what the overall result will be. That's why there is hesitation to rush into something of this nature & take a leap, it's like gambling, you could do well or you could come out losing, now make a choice regarding gambling with your life & those you love. Too many people are playing God now a days & we must remember that. There is a number of preventive measures one can take, simply just use common sense & keep in mind that when one's time is up there is no escaping the angel of death regardless if you have this vaccine or not. Once again that's just my opinion on how I see the overall picture. Just be cautious & believe in your common sense & instincts & the miracle of life in itself. Look for the truth around you.

We all have to ask ourselves the following questions. What is happening to society, when they stop questioning things? It is very healthy & VERY smart to take the time to STOP & really think. Truthfully this H1N1 vaccine has been thrown at us quite quickly & it is a very serious thing because we do NOT know the long term side effects such as 5,10,15,20 or more so years down the road, Do you? So wether anyone wants to face the truth or not, the FACT is if you really truly look at the whole picture this H1N1 vaccine is being tested on us. We the humans of this world will tell the end result of wether or not this was a good thing or a bad thing. Here's another question, how concerned should we be when we see people are lining up without a second thought to receive this vaccination? If they have done there research & that was there final decision then great, no problem, that is their choice. However, if they haven't done their research, why not? Why wouldn't they? That's what scares me. What scares me even more, is this question, why is it that so many people are willing to be a guinea pig? Do they even realize that's what they are? You have to sign a waver before receiving this vaccine, what does that tell a person? Does that not say there could be UNKNOWN NEGATIVE RESULTS in itself? Not to mention with this waver once you sign it, it leaves no one responsible for the outcome if it should go sour. No one wants to be responsible for anything anymore, & yet we should have trust in our leaders when they refuse to be held responsible for something there pushing on to civilization as a whole? One has to ask another question? Would we leave our new born child or any of our children with a babysitter that made us sign a waver saying they are not held responsible for anything bad that happens to that child? My hope & guess is that the majority of us would not because that would show signs towards this sitter of possible carelessness, we'd feel a sense of worry, & a question of trust would enter our minds, not to mention irresponsibility. My point in question from that example is, how much trust & security can you have in something or people who do not want to be responsible? If every thing with this H1N1 vaccine is such a wonderful life saver & there is no need to worry then why the waver? Also if this really truly is the best thing why are their so many doubts from 50% of the population if not more? It's a very frightening thing & once anyone ask themselves these questions & truly takes the time to think about it the truth is there to be seen. I think a lot of us would feel more comfortable if we knew what the end results were to this vaccine YEARS down the road not a month down the road, & if we were not the ones being used to see the results, maybe that's selfish, but some of us have responsibilities to protect our children & to be there for them. And with so many unanswered question, & so many unknowns it's beyond a tough decision. Just my opinion. Good luck with your decision.
And so we have a deliema here.
Then I have to ask myself the questions
1. why do I have to sign a waiver if this vaccine is safe
2. has my government ever lied to me before
3. has my government ever streeeeeeched the truth in what it's told me before
4. has my government ever mislead me on purpose before
5. what exactly are we talking about with this H1N1 virus
6. am I tinkering around too much with my natural immune system
7. would my body be better off developing it's own defenses overall
8. is the risk of H1N1 worth risking permanent side effects
9. do I feel confident enough in the testing
10. am I being lead down the garden path by all the hype
And The Really Big Question
11. who makes the big bucks when all is said and done
DO THEY REALLY HAVE MY FAMILY"S BEST INTEREST AT HEART????
